Retro­fit high-bay ware­house with Bosch Rexroth ctrlX

Retro­fit — sus­tain­able and future-proof

Due to a defect in the exist­ing con­trol sys­tem of a high-bay ware­house, we decid­ed, after joint con­sul­ta­tion with our cus­tomer, to use a high-per­for­mance and com­mu­ni­ca­tion-capa­ble con­trol plat­form: ctr­lX CORE. With the scal­able indus­tri­al con­trol sys­tem from Bosch Rexroth and the know-how of our con­trol experts, the replace­ment could be car­ried out in the short­est pos­si­ble time and high­ly efficiently.

The CPU ctr­lX CORE includ­ing an inter­face mod­ule was used. For the com­mu­ni­ca­tion between the con­trol and the periph­ery the automa­tion bus Ether­CAT mas­ter was used. For pro­gram­ming the devel­op­ment envi­ron­ment CODESYS was imple­ment­ed. In this project not yet real­ized, but in already planned projects, we will con­trol com­plete plants, HMI pan­els and ser­vo dri­ves with ctr­lX CORE.
