Three years ago, we already installed a photovoltaic system on the roof of our underground parking garage together with EnergieAIXperte GmbH. In order to make even better use of the advantages of solar energy, our parking spaces in the underground garage were equipped with electric charging stations at the beginning of this year. The consultation and installation of the charging stations was also successfully carried out by the team of EnergieAIXperte GmbH.
The 55 photovoltaic modules of our PV system with a total generator area of 91.5 m² produce a yield of approx. 18,000 kWh of PV generator energy. While the demand in private households usually increases in the morning or evening, we as a company reach our maximum during the day. This allows us to use the generated energy directly to a large extent.
Some of our company cars have already been electric or hybrid vehicles for some time. The electric charging stations that have now been installed offer us the opportunity to charge the vehicles’ batteries with the solar power generated. We are pleased to be gradually contributing to a more climate-conscious future in this way.
