As part of the Premium Solution partnership with Mitsubishi Electric Germany, a 3-dimensional pick & place gantry was developed as a trade fair model. Equipped with the compact and flexible FX5UC Melsec iQ-F controller and associated motion module, it is intended as a demonstration model for high performance and functional standards and complex motion sequences.

As part of his bachelor thesis at Aachen University of Applied Sciences, Mr. Florian Schacht tested the Mitsubishi Motion Control software using a test setup for parallel kinematics. The project setup with two servos, an actuator and a graphical user interface is intended to execute complex motion sequences with the aim of testing the functionality of the software and evaluating its suitability for future customer projects. We at Quality Automation GmbH were delighted to be able to provide the framework conditions for this exciting final thesis.
