On 30.11.2023, the 7th Entrepreneurs’ Day of the Aachen Industry Dialogue opened its doors in the impressive setting of the Coronation Hall in Aachen City Hall under the motto “A region with power”. Framed by the colourful hustle and bustle of the Christmas market on Katschhof and Marktplatz, a lively, informative and exciting exchange developed between regional companies, representatives of Aachen University of Applied Sciences and local politicians. 250 representatives from 70 companies came together here to get an all-round view of Aachen as an industrial centre.
Aachen’s Lord Mayor Sibylle Keupen, who is the patron of the Aachen Industry Dialogue together with Dr. Tim Grüttemeier, member of the Aachen Regional Council, welcomed the audience and opened the programme, which was moderated by Robert Esser, Aachener Zeitung, and Petra Pauli, car e. V..
We at Quality Automation GmbH have been based in the Aachen region for 23 years now and have recently been proud of our active participation in the Aachen Industry Dialogue. It is always a great pleasure for us to accompany the future-oriented development of a diverse corporate landscape in the Aachen region in this way. The Aachen Industry Dialogue has been taking place since 2015 and entered its 7th round this year. It is an open network for industry in the StädteRegion Aachen and supports, among other things, the transfer between Aachen’s universities and industry. The “Made in Aachen” seal of quality is awarded annually. This year’s winners were Theod. Mahr Söhne GmbH from Aachen, QUIP AG from Baesweiler and Müller Maschinentechnik GmbH from Düren were honoured this year. In the opinion of the jury, they have rendered exemplary services to production, training and co-operation in the Aachen region.
