FH-scholarship holders visit Quality Automation GmbH

Within the scope of the FH scholarship program a group of scholarship holders will attend the company Quality Automation in Stolberg on 24th April 2013. Twenty students of all faculties will experience here how industrial automation projects are realized form the first step of planning to the complete integration. They are accompanied by Prof. Elmar Engels, expert at the FH Aachen in the field of automation technology.

Quality Automation GmbH enables a student of the study program electrical engineering with special field automation technology already for the second time to pass the studies in a more concentrated and efficient way. In addition to the financial support the contact to the company is of major importance for the students: study works, practical experience and last but not least long time practical experience of the employers are a big enrichment for the young talents.

Every year the FH Aachen awards scholarships to students coming to 300 Euro a month.

One half will be sponsored by NRW and the federation the other by sponsors of the economy. Next to financial support the sponsors offer practical trainings and possibilities for final projects to the scholarship holders.

The scholarship program is kept alive by the support of sponsors. Owing to the following enterprises and institutions the university could offer 64 scholarships in winter semester 2012/2013:
