To mark the start of the 2025/26 funding year, the scholarship certificates were once again presented in the historic Coronation Hall of Aachen City Hall. More than 60 sponsors – companies, foundations, associations, institutions, and private individuals – donated approximately 120 scholarships, which were awarded to students from all departments of Aachen University of Applied Sciences.
“I think it’s remarkable that so many companies are showing such commitment to young people despite these challenging times,” emphasized Prof. Dr. Thomas Ritz, Rector of FH Aachen.
We are once again participating as a scholarship provider this year and are supporting Mr. Konstantin Edel, a student of electrical engineering with a focus on automation technology at FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences, with an annual scholarship. We are very pleased that Mr. Edel is joining us on this journey. This is a great confirmation and shows that the scholarships are effective and help students achieve their desired degrees.
“It was a great pleasure and honor for me to accept the certificate on behalf of Quality Automation GmbH, together with Mr. Edel, in the coronation hall of Aachen City Hall. It is always important to me to encourage and support young talent,” reports Managing Director Andreas Fritz.
