On November 28, 2024, the 8th Entrepreneurs’ Day of the Aachen Industry Dialogue opened its doors in the impressive setting of the Coronation Hall at Aachen City Hall. Framed by the festive bustle of the Christmas market at Katschhof and Market Square, the event fostered lively, informative, and engaging exchanges between regional businesses, representatives of local trades, and local political figures. A total of 250 representatives from 70 companies gathered to gain a comprehensive perspective on Aachen as an industrial location.
Aachen’s Mayor Sibylle Keupen and District Council Chairman Dr. Tim Grüttemeier, who jointly serve as patrons of the Aachen Industry Dialogue, welcomed the audience and officially opened the program. The event was moderated by Robert Esser from the Aachener Zeitung and Petra Pauli. We, as Quality Automation GmbH, have been based in the Aachen region for 24 years and are proud of our active participation in the Aachen Industry Dialogue in recent years, as well as our distinction with the “Made in Aachen” seal of quality. For us, it is always a great pleasure to support the forward-looking development of a diverse corporate landscape in the Aachen region in this way and to establish new connections. From startups and family businesses to large corporations, we experience the industry here as a driving force for innovation.
At this year’s Entrepreneurs’ Day, the presentation of our ERP system QAenterprise took center stage. Our latest features, such as support for e-invoices, attracted significant interest. This highly topical subject sparked numerous in-depth conversations at our booth, where we were able to answer many questions and provide targeted advice to potential users. These interactions led to several promising opportunities for follow-up consultations, highlighting our commitment to innovative business solutions.

About the Aachen Industry Dialogue
The Aachen Industry Dialogue has been held annually since 2015 and marked its 8th edition this year. It serves as an open network for the industry in the Aachen city region, fostering collaboration, including the transfer of knowledge between Aachen’s universities and the industrial sector. Each year, the prestigious “Made in Aachen” seal is awarded. This year’s recipients were Procoplast from Lontzen, Belgium, the Siemens AG branch in Aachen, and us, Quality Automation GmbH. According to the jury, these companies have made exemplary contributions to production, education, and cooperation in the Aachen region.
